Salaam Afghan American Basketball Council Members,
After much debate, discussion, and negotiation I have come to terms with Eng. Nazir Ahmad Shah Wardak, President of the ANABF/ANOC, Afghan National Amateur Basketball Federation. I am returning to the United States with complete paperwork stamped and signed by President Wardak. Members of the Afghan Sports Federation have been notified and once I arrive in the United States I will begin contacting those individuals involved. The NBAA will also be concluding an article on the new basketball development. However accreditation from the Olympic Committee was only the new beginning there is much work to be done regarding the future, and I plan on discussing everyones opinion on how we can re-mold and re-develop this entire basketball program. I am not satisfied at the current state of basketball and there is much room for improvement, however the council members are the ones who are capable, knowledgeable and experts in the fields of how we grab this bull by the horns. Insight is key, I am very keen to listen to everyone. I am hoping we can all sit in California and discuss in detail how to go from here. Regards Naser Shahalemi |

I hope you don't mind my contacting you this way.
I received a message from Sara Sultan re: Facebook, but could not reply to her because of my email address (they are limited). I would like to contact her. I am Masuda's former high school teacher, and I met Sara and her parents several times, but we lost touch. From what I gathered on Facebook, you and Sara are married. I'd appreciate your telling her that I'd like to hear from her. Thank you. Dr. Shirley Budhos Shirlzb@juno.com |
